03 - In the same skillet, sauté onion for 2 to 3 minutes until translucent. Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds, stirring continuously.
04 - Stir in sun-dried tomatoes, dried oregano, thyme, and red pepper flakes; cook for 1 minute to release aromas.
05 - Pour in chicken broth and deglaze the pan, scraping browned bits. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese until blended.
06 - Return chicken breasts to skillet and nestle chickpeas around them.
07 - Simmer uncovered for 10 to 12 minutes until chicken reaches 165°F internal temperature and sauce thickens.
08 - Taste sauce and adjust seasoning as needed. Garnish with chopped fresh basil or parsley before serving.
